The Career And Transfer Services Center
The Career and Transfer Services Center (CATS), located in room 106 in the Student Center on the Prestonsburg campus, provides assistance for all Big Sandy Community and Technical College students and the community.
Services Include:- Maintaining information on four-year colleges in Kentucky and other states
- Hosting visits from recruiters from various four-year colleges
- Helping students find transfer applications and information
- Helping students complete scholarship applications for transfer schools
- Providing workshops on topics such as writing solid resumes and cover letters and completing job applications
- Providing information on available employment
- Helping students work with the Discover Career Assessment program
- Providing career related material and resources
The Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm. Chris Conley, Director of the CATS Center is available to help students during this time.
