The Democratic Club of the BSCTC is dedicated to the following:
- Promoting the principles of the Democratic Party: Strength, Inclusion, and Opportunity
- Stimulating an interest in politics among the students of BSCTC
- Enhancing the knowledge of BSCTC students about issues and challenges facing our region, our state and our nation
- Promoting the pro-student message via fair and frank discussions, debates and issue advocacy
- Encouraging members of our campus community to register and vote in elections
- Educating students of the magnitude their role plays in the political process
