Welding ClassroomThe Welding Technology Program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to determine the appropriate welding technique required for a specific project.  Welding occupations are primarily concerned with joining, surfacing, fabricating or repairing structures or parts made of metal or other materials. 

Where can I work?

Welding jobs are found in manufacturing. Jobs are concentrated in fabricated metal product manufacturing, transportation equipment manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, architectural and structural metals manufacturing, and construction.

How much will I earn?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that the national median annual wage for occupations in this area of study is $35,450. Find Out More
