Practical Nursing (LPN)

BSCTC offers a one year program leading to a diploma in Practical Nursing following successful completion of the program.  The Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) will then determine the graduate’s eligibility to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and practice in the state of Kentucky under the supervision of a registered nurse, physician or dentist.   A separate admission process must be completed in order to be considered for the practical nursing program.

Once admitted into the practical nursing program completion usually takes 3 semesters.
