Mission, Vision, and Values
Mission
The BSCTC-OCD works to create greater awareness and appreciation of diversity, multicultural, and equity values on the different College campuses and in the surrounding communities.
Vision
The BSCTC-OCD seeks to recruit and retain African American students, employees, and other minority population at all levels of the institution. It strives to make the College a place where African American and other minority students can achieve an excellent education.
The BSCTC-OCD also seeks to empower the faculty, staff, and students on the different BSCTC campuses, as well as the surrounding communities at large, to promote, respect, and uphold diversity, equity, and multicultural values.
The Office will accomplish its goals through the organization of all-inclusive activities on campus and in the surrounding areas; develop programs that maximize awareness and understanding of the commitment of the college to promoting cultural diversity and realizing set targets; and contributing in creating greater visibility for the College in the KCTCS and to a wider external audience.

The BSCTC-OCD strictly adheres to the following values:
