Cultural Diversity Scholarship

The Office of Cultural Diversity in collaboration with the Office of the President is instituting a 
Cultural Diversity Scholarship starting spring of 2008. The amount ranges from $500.00 to 
$1000.00 per student. Each year 2 students will be awarded the scholarship. This scholarship will 
go to purchase books and other educational materials related to the students' studies. 

Qualifications

*	Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
*	Student should not be in the final semester of course work
*	Student will register for at least 9 credit hours the following semester
*	Show proof of promoting cultural diversity activities on the BSCTC campus(s) and/or in the 
surrounding community (Activities may include but not limited to presentations of cultural 
diverse topics in class or in the community, active participation and involvement in cultural 
diversity activities organized by the office of cultural diversity and/or other departments of 
the college)

Application forms are obtainable from the Office of Cultural Diversity, or from the Office of the
