Office of Cultural Diversity

2007 Cultural Diversity Challenge Award  


The office of cultural diversity starting this fall is instituting a cultural diversity challenge award 
for students and/or student organizations. Two (2) awards will be awarded each semester.

Selection Criteria:

*	Be a registered student for the semester with at least 9 credit hours
*	Be a registered and full standing student organization
*	Complete an application to participate
*	Indicate title and a brief summary of diversity activity
*	Indicate how your activity(ies) are related to program(s) organized by the Office of Cultural 
Diversity, Student Activities, Library Seminar Series or any other department on campus 
involved with different diversity initiative.

Examples of Programs from the Office of Cultural Diversity include:

Cultural Diversity Awareness Month in October
International Education Week in November
Martin Luther King Day Celebration in January
Black History Month in February
Women's History Month in March

Application forms are obtainable from the Office of Cultural Diversity, or from the Office of the 
President.
