President's Message

I am pleased to announce Collegiate Beginnings, an expansion of our high school partnerships at Big Sandy Community and Technical College. Working together with Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin and Pike County Boards of Education, Paintsville and Pikeville Independent Boards of Education, Area Technology Centers, and other educational entities in the Big Sandy region, we are committed to a plan which will allow high school students the opportunity to earn college credit.

The faculty and staff of Big Sandy Community and Technical College are proud to be partners with local schools in this endeavor. Collegiate Beginnings options are Articulated Credit, Tuition Scholarships, and Dual Credit/Enrollment. For more information on each program, click the links provided in the side bar.

Big Sandy Community and Technical College is excited about Collegiate Beginnings with its wide range of college credit opportunities for high school students. It is one more way to say "Higher Education Begins Here."
