Big Sandy Community and Technical College annually awards $4 million in student financial assistance with nearly 65 percent of its students receiving some type of financial aid. Financial aid, needs-based scholarships, and other types of assistance play a vital role in ensuring that the people in the Big Sandy Region have means to attend college and fulfill their dreams.
Some Sources of Financial Assistance:
To receive financial aid, students must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Please complete and mail your application early. It will normally take approximately 4 to 6
weeks for the Department of Education to process your application. For faster processing, the FAFSA
may be completed online at the FAFSA website.
