Using Financial Aid

In our efforts to provide excellent customer service, students may use their Financial Aid awards to purchase products the Big Sandy Bookstores. All merchandise can be purchased in this manner except candy and magazines.

Charging Textbooks

Only if a student can provide a class schedule will the Big Sandy Bookstores allow them to charge their textbooks

Refund Policy

TEXTBOOKS : The refund period is the two-week period from the first day of classes for each semester (one week for bi-term, intersession and summer sessions).
Materials sold in cellophane, shrink-wrapped or sealed packaging MUST be returned in original unopened package.
If any new texts are shelf worn at the time of purchase, please inform cashier and a notation will be made on your receipt.

DEFECTIVE BOOKS will be replaced provided they are returned (with receipt) during the same semester they were purchased.

SPECIAL ORDERS may be placed at anytime. Deposit required. Special Orders are NOT returnable.

BUY BACK at wholesale prices daily during semester. During finals week, retail prices are in effect. Your receipt is NOT required to sell your books during buy back. Specific dates will be posted. Note, the bookstore will pay up to 50% of the purchase price of textbook if the book is being used the following term.

SUPPLIES : Defective supplies are returnable based upon manufacture guidelines.

CLOTHING : Returnable if within five (5) working days from the date of purchase.
