Workforce SolutionsBig Sandy Community and Technical College provides many types of training to the community. Our traditional programs offer degrees, diplomas, and certificates. We also have programs where companies or community groups may request specialized training.

Adult Education

Adult EducationIt's never too late for a new beginning. Get Your GED, Improve Your Job Skills, Prepare for Testing, and more. BSCTC hosts Adult Education centers in Johnson Co. and Floyd Co. Our GED classes are completely free. We provide the books, class materials, and experienced instructors to help you earn your high school equivalence at your own pace.

BSCTC ENROLLMENT SKYROCKETING FOR FALL SEMESTER

Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s (BSCTC) enrollment for the fall semester has increased more than 12 percent year to date, BSCTC President Dr. Devin Stephenson announced on Monday.

The KCA will host a job fair at BSCTC's Pikeville Campus 9am-3pm Monday, Aug. 1, to help recruit displaced miners for new jobs with Warrior Met Coal Company in Alabama.
