The First Year Experience Committee has provided three popcorn machines that are available for use as or in conjunction with a student engagement activity. Popcorn machines must be thoroughly cleaned after use according to instructions provided by the FYE Committee. Popcorn machines are not to be used in any fundraising effort.
The First Year Experience Committee, created as a function of the College’s QEP, administers funding support for faculty-sponsored activities that do not qualify for funding from any other budget. Faculty members must complete and submit the funding request form in order to qualify for funding. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis by the First Year Experience Committee. When considering a request, the committee looks for a direct relationship between expenditures and engagement.
