What is Human Services?
Do you have great listening skills and enjoy helping people with issues or problems? If so, you may be interested in pursuing Human Services. The Human Services Program provides an opportunity for students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level positions in agencies and institutions that provide basic needs, social, community, educational and mental health services.
What are my career options?
Social and human service assistants are employed in the health care and social assistance industries. State and local governments, primarily in public welfare agencies and facilities for mentally disabled and developmentally challenged individuals.
